European American Arms Windicator .38 Special

Image
Hey y'all! Welcome back! This week I'll be demo'ing the EAA, EA/R Windicator. 38 special snubby. Right away, I like the feel of this gun. It's comfortable and has a good feel to it. It's stout and seems pretty well made. It's a little thick and heavy for a concealed carry gun, but I know there's ways around that.  (Stay tuned, one of my videos will be a holster review) Overall, I really like the way this gun looks and feels. It's got a hammer spur (which I like personally) and a nice, clean trigger pull. Double action it has a 6lb or 8lb trigger pull, I don't remember which. But single action, it's only a 2lb trigger pull since the trigger isn't trying to cock the hammer as you're pulling it. I'm really excited to get this gun out on the range and demo it for you guys! The Ammo I'll be using is:  Handgun Line 158gr lead round nose Muzzle Velocity: 902fps Muzzle Energy: 284 ft-lbs  Winchester 150gr lead round nose Muzzl

Model 92 Winchester 32-20

Hello again!  This week, I got ahold of another 100 year old Winchester. This one is also in excellent condition! The action is smooth, the trigger seems pretty light, but it feels good. The cartridge is pretty small by scale, it's about the same size as the 30 Carbine cartridge. I'm really looking forward to demo'ing this rifle this week. There's nothing like a good old lever action.  I got ahold of a box of hand loads for the 32-20, it's kinda hard to come by and there's no info on the weight of the bullet, but I've been guaranteed they'll go bang when I pull the trigger, so at least I have something to shoot.  This week I'll be shooting the self healing gopher (Mrs Rifleman keeps reminding me that it's a prairie dog... but, it'll always be a gopher to me...). I'll also be shooting the self healing reactive block. I really like these targets, they're pretty cool to shoot and don't really take much damage.  I hope to

22LR vs 22Mag

Image
Welcome back! This video I'm going to try a couple different things with a couple different guns.  The first test will be 22LR vs 22Mag rounds out of a Heritage Rough Rider revolver. This revolver is chambered for either round and has interchangeable cylinders. So we'll be able to test both rounds out of the same gun.  The second test will be to see if there's any penetration difference in shooting 22LR out of a rifle barrel vs a pistol barrel.  The first gun I'll be demo'ing is the Heritage Rough Rider revolver. This little gun is awesome. It's comfortable, it's rugged, it's a perfect beginner 6 gun for a new shooter. And since it comes in 22LR and 22Mag, it's a perfect plinking pistol or small varmint gun. You can certainly use 22Mag as a personal defense gun as well.  The next gun, will be the Winchester Model 62A pump action 22 rifle. Based on serial number, it looks like this rifle was made in 1949. This is a pretty neat little rifle
